Dark Field Microscopy Slide Cleaning

First Contact™ Polymer Solutions – Some examples

Cleaning glass is very difficult.

Microscopists Bonin and Bonessi evaluated the First Contact polymer for cleaning slides to resolve issues encountered with dark field microscopy when an accepted cleaning technique, specifically Squeaky Clean Slides method utilizing a Sonicator bath. They found that First Contact used after an ammonia wash removed virtually all particulates from glass slides.
