Clean Static Sensitive Substrates with our ESD-DF Formula First Contact Polymer
The ESD Free kits have been tested and shown to safely and easily clean ESD sensitive surfaces such as sensors and nanostructures. By diffusing carbon nanotubes into the liquid polymer, the dry polymer film is able to be peeled off without any buildup of static electricity. Due to the properties of First Contact Polymer formulas, the nanotubes are encapsulated inside the polymer film itself and do not remain on the surface. Our ESD Formula dries much slower than our other formulas, and even when dry the film will stretch although adhesion is low as normal. After ~24 hours the dry fill will become tough, however it is not necessary to wait this long to peel the dry film unless the film is very thin and tears while stretching.
The ESD-DF Formula First Contact Trial kit is great for initial evaluations on small substrates and will clean many small CCD or CMOS sensors, or one sensor many times. The kit contains enough polymer to clean up to 60 square inches of surface area.
